GOAT has officially announced its most in-demand sneakers for May and along with recent releases dominating the top 20, it’s evident that the warmer weather is beginning to factor into consumer behavior.
Of the five highest-ranking most-wanted sneakers, the top four are all white-based pairs, with light blue accents being a commonality among three of them. The most-wanted pair of May was the Air Jordan 4 Retro White Cement, which is an impressive feat considering that the style wasn’t formally released until near the end of the month on May 24. Coming in at the second place spot is another Air Jordan 4 Retro, the Mother’s Day-themed women’s Forget Me Not iteration. At number three is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC Reimagined, while the fourth spot is occupied by the 2025 reissue of the Air Jordan 12 Retro Melo.
The white-based colorway theme is broken up at number five, which belongs to the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Bred based on Michael Jordan’s player exclusive version of the model, before switching back to the Air Jordan 3 Retro Seoul 2.0 in the sixth spot. One of the year’s most talked-about sneakers, the Air Jordan 5 Retro Black Metallic Reimagined, was the seventh most-wanted style in May followed by the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Retro SP in navy at eight.
