Nigel Sylvester’s New Air Jordan 4 ‘Brick After Brick’ Collaboration Gets Its Most Detailed Look Yet

The sequel to one of 2025's top sneaker releases is almost here.

Only time will tell if Nigel Sylvester’s upcoming Air Jordan 4 sequel can recapture the acclaim of 2025’s Brick by Brick collaboration, but one thing is certain: fans won’t have to wait much longer for a chance to pick the pair up.

After weeks of teasers, activations and even an art installation in the middle of New York City, official Nike e-commerce images have surfaced of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 OG Brick After Brick sneaker. An early contender for one of 2026’s most anticipated sneakers, the upcoming release plays into the bricklaying theme established on Sylvester’s first Air Jordan 4 and adds a hint of Jordan Brand legacy through its familiar color scheme.

With a color combination that references the Air Jordan 4’s original Fire Red colorway worn by Michael Jordan himself, Sylvester’s special-edition variation adds a pre-aged aesthetic, subtle brick-inspired texture and Bike Air-branded details throughout.

In the lead up to the release, Sylvester and his team have gone all-out with the rollout. Highlights have included a “The Weight of Progress” art installation on Mulberry Street, a Brick After Brick mobile game in which fans can win a free pair of the collaboration and a photo shoot with rapper Jeezy.

The upcoming Brick After Brick is a natural follow-up to the aforementioned Brick by Brick collaboration. With its brick-colored design, the latter was widely considered to be one of the top sneaker releases of 2025. But Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 journey goes back even farther, as the BMX pro also helped introduce the Air Jordan 4 RM takedown model in 2024.

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 OG Brick After Brick is expected to be released on May 22 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers. Retail pricing is set at $225 for the Sail/Cinnabar/Anthracite/Muslin sneaker, which has a style code of IQ8055-100.
