Some accused Lil Yachty of not doing enough for his first Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration, but that criticism may subdue with what he has in store yet.
The Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lucky Green” has garnered that name because listing all the colors would require too many characters. In addition to the namesake hue, the patent leather upper features paneling in yellow and green, including a red Swoosh with green trim beneath it carrying a more silken sheen. Yachty’s Concrete Boys stick figure is embroidered in red on the lateral heel, and the fuller logo is printed in the same color on the mustache. A yellow insole features the Swoosh and “It’s Us” slogan in red to match the tongue tag, while a yellow midsole with red stitching and outsole ensures no single component goes without color.

In response to Brandon “Bimma” Williams’s criticism of the shoe, the musician unleashed a profanity-laced tirade at ComplexCon in which he said: “It’s like bro, every shoe don’t gotta be fifty f**king colors. I wanted to do some real calm, sexy s**t. Like, navy blue is a good-ass color. And white, you feel me?”
Perhaps time will tell if three colors will prevent additional blowback.
