Naveena Group Lahore is advancing materials and processes for Fall/Winter 2027-2028.
“The collection is driven by a curated selection of innovative fiber blends that elevate performance, durability, and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on enhanced softness and comfort,” said Umair Tata, Naveena Group Lahore executive director.
The collection emphasizes comfort and performance without relying solely on synthetic fibers. Key materials include wool, which is valued for its natural insulation, breathability and long-lasting durability, and kapok, a lightweight, biodegradable fiber known for its exceptionally soft, airy touch and low environmental footprint.
The collection also incorporates post-consumer waste and shredded recycled fibers, supporting circularity and reducing reliance on virgin materials.
Additionally, Tata said Tencel fibers including Tencel Lyocell – HV100 fiber are incorporated to deliver superior softness, advanced moisture management and responsibly sourced production. “These fibers play a critical role in achieving a refined hand feel,” he said.
With softness and cozy tactility becoming increasingly important qualities to consumers, Naveena engineered a brushing concept that amplifies surface softness and create a smooth, velvety texture. “This finishing technique enhances the tactile experience, giving fabrics a premium, plush feel while maintaining strength and performance integrity,” Tata said.
You can’t talk about comfort without mentioning stretch. “Comfort stretch remains a key trend, with straight fits emerging as a modern alternative to skinny fits, offering relaxed yet stylish silhouettes,” Tata said noting that the fabrics are enhanced by the mill’s soft-finishing techniques for added comfort and performance. Naveena also developed a collection with Xlance, leveraging the fiber’s ability to deliver high-performance stretch and durable fabrics.
The Pakistani mill has developed a new G-2 Ozone finish, which Tata said significantly reduces water, energy, and chemical consumption during production. Additionally, advanced water and chemical conversion techniques have been implemented to minimize environmental impact across processing stages.
Naveena sees the denim market embracing rich color for F/W 27-28. The mill is responding with new seasonal shades such as rust, soft lilac, deep green and brown. These colors, alongside raw and natural looks, are moving beyond traditional indigo to more expressive tones.
“The overall mood for F/W 27–28 is centered on rich, expressive brown tones and a strong focus on warm, cozy fabrics made from natural fibers. The season emphasizes comfort stretch, varied textured weaves, raw-look fabrics, and tactile experiences, combining visual appeal with functional warmth,” Tata added.
