Denim Première Vision returns to Milan at Superstudio Più May 20-21 for its ninth Milanese edition.
Attendees can expect an event that “reaffirms its role as an industry catalyst by bringing together over 60 elite exhibitors from around the world,” according to the organizer Première Vision, including the return of leading denim mills like Cone Denim and Arvind Limited and the introduction of first-time exhibitors like Pakistani accessories manufacturer Jawaid Bross.
Overall, exhibitors will be 60 percent denim mills, 20 percent garment makers and 20 percent accessories and technology and service providers.
The GL Events-owned trade show has a robust program of educational discussions and trend forecasting presentations.
The Denim Trends Forum will provide a look at the Fall/Winter 2027-2028 trends shaping denim, from raw materials and finishing to textures, colors and new responsible developments. More than a simple presentation, the event said the Forum “acts as a practical tool to rethink, refresh, and elevate upcoming collections, encouraging a renewed approach to denim as a living, transformative medium.”
The Première Vision’s fashion team will present its F/W 27-28 forecast, as well as Denim Dudes founder Amy Leverton, who will dive deeper into the cultural influences affecting the industry.
Additionally, a collection developed by Italian designer Kristian Guerra, the Denim PV Fashion Team, and exhibitors will offer inspiration for a forward-thinking denim wardrobe. Blending authentic heritage with a futuristic vision, the concept collection features the full spectrum of denim, from raw indigo to coated and overdyed finishes.
Sessions with Chloris about its bio-based dye called Claessen Blue and CBI about a circular apparel project in Tunisia will examine how the industry is finding new ways to scale sustainability.
Denim Première Vision is partnering with Istituto Marangoni Milan to support student designers. Isko Luxury by PG, Advance Denim, Officina39, and Tonello will host exclusive “technical immersion” sessions within the school. Additionally, students will have an opportunity to showcase their creative research.
The event will include a dedicated area for Adriano Goldschmied’s final collections with Pioneer Denim and Soko.
