Fausto Puglisi likes to impress, and for the launch of his first men’s capsule collection, he didn’t put limits on his flamboyant attitude.
Distressed denim pants, leather jackets with maxi-gold studs and silk shirts in his signature patterns inspired by the Ancient Roman culture contributed to the streetwear-skewed appeal of the lineup.
For the first time, the designer introduced a fresh floral print that peppered short pants and tops, while double-breasted blazers with gold buttons revealed a more sophisticated spirit.
The cascade of gold chains, necklaces and earrings enhanced the collection’s bad-boy-inspired aesthetic, which, while referencing a certain downtown Miami Eighties’ atmosphere, was also infused with a more Mediterranean mood, reflected in the hyper-masculine, macho-like casting.

For women’s resort, Fausto Puglisi focused on his signature silhouettes, which came not only in the brand’s iconic graphic patterns, but also in a new floral print. This was used, for example, on a blouse worn with a matching pleated skirt and a fluid robe coat, one of the season’s key pieces. Flowers also appeared on a mini T-shirt dress and on a hyper-flared skirt. Washed denim was crafted for distressed five pockets, as well as patchwork skinny jeans. Puglisi’s iconic gold studs embellished the bodice of a sensual gown, featuring a high-slit silk chiffon skirt.
