Foot Locker and Puma have launched their multi-brand spring campaign “Stay in Rotation,” featuring LSU basketball star and rapper Flau’jae Johnson. The initiative, developed with creative agency We Are Social, targets Gen Z’s emphasis on self-expression and community.
“This partnership with Foot Locker is a dream come true. I’ve always believed that style has no limits, and the ‘Stay in Rotation’ campaign is all about having options and owning your look from the ground up. For this campaign, I’m stepping out in my favorite Puma sneakers because no matter where I am or what I’m doing, the right kicks don’t just complete the fit – they elevate my whole vibe and bring energy to every move,” Johnson said via statement.
The campaign aims to empower wearers to use footwear as a tool for personal expression, emphasizing versatility and confidence. Foot Locker SVP Kim Waldmann stated the goal is to “captivate Gen Z who are shaping their ever-evolving style” through sneakers.
Johnson, who recently opted to return to LSU instead of entering the 2025 WNBA draft, was selected for her dual influence in basketball and music. Her involvement follows previous collaborations with brands like Powerade and Google Pixel.
