One of the most high-stakes matchups of the college football season will take place Saturday when the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions host the No. 6 Oregon Ducks. The two undefeated teams will meet at 7:30 p.m. ET from Beaver Stadium and ahead of the game, Nike has made sure the Swoosh-sponsored Ducks are ready to play in style with a full “Mummy Duck” uniform that includes a pair of intricately designed Vaporposite cleats.
Using Nike’s Vaporposite cleat as its base, the player exclusive footwear features a white Foamposite upper that’s adorned with glow-in-the-dark graphics meant to look like mummy bandages. Volt green is used on the cleat plate and accent colors, while the tongue and Swoosh feature raw edges as if they’ve been wrapped in gauze.

Along with the cleats, Nike also made an off-field Mummy Duck Air Foamposite Pro. The sneakers feature the same glow-in-the-dark detailing and frayed threads, but in the form of the original Air Foamposite Pro shoe.
Many of Oregon’s recent Nike projects have been released through GOAT via the university’s Division Street NIL collective. And while many fans may be hoping for a chance at these latest Mummy Duck shoes, Nike tells Footwear News the pairs will remain exclusive to the Ducks.
In 2021, Nike released a similarly styled Mummy version of its SB Dunk Low sneaker for Halloween.
While the mummified cleats are exclusive to Ducks players and won’t be made available for purchase, Nike is giving Oregon fans another chance to get in on the look with a special Mummy Duck T-shirt complete with glow-in-the-dark graphics. The T-shirt is available now from nike.com for $50.
