Of all the exciting footwear previewed in Nike’s SNKRS Showcase stream on Tuesday, there is one category that sneaker fans are arguably anticipating the most: Foamposites. Along with the return of the original Pearl Air Foamposite Pro colorway, the Swoosh-adorned version of the sneaker will be rereleased this holiday season in its Pine Green style.
Last seen in 2011, it’s been over a decade since fans have had an opportunity to pick up the Pine Green Air Foamposite Pro at retail. That will soon change, and based on the first looks shared Tuesday, fans of the early 2010s style should be satisfied with how closely Nike Sportswear has managed to reproduce the look.

Based on the early look previewed by Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins during the event, the upcoming 2025 version of the sneaker appears to be a near one-to-one match with the original ’11 iteration (pictured below). Highlights include the blue-tinted icy rubber outsole, a Pine Green Swoosh on the outsole and the standout feature, a color-shifting Foamposite upper. The iridescent effect shifts from dark green to hints of purple, gold and black, a feature which helped make the original Pine Green release so popular.
While the Pearl has the legacy of being an original colorway as well as being prominently featured on the big screen during Spike Lee’s “He Got Game,” the Pine Green’s popularity was more of an organic affair. It didn’t come with any fancy marketing or storytelling, yet the original ’11 iteration was quick to sell out. It shouldn’t surprise readers if the upcoming reissue experiences a similar fate.
In addition to the Pine Green and Pearl styles highlighted in the SNKRS Showcase, details regarding more upcoming Air Foamposite Pros have also surfaced. Early info points to two colorways, Triple Black and Gym Red, launching in 2026, although in-hand images aren’t yet available for those styles.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Pine Green is set to be released holiday ’25. The sneaker’s style code is HF0794-300 and it has an expected retail price of $240.
