With New Balance having just introduced the low-profile, croc-embossed Gator Run model and the 2000s-inspired 1890 by way of an Action Bronson collaboration, yet another one of the brand’s new lifestyle shoes has appeared at Paris Fashion Week.
The latest entry into the Boston-based sportswear brand’s lifestyle category is the 5030 model. Appearing first in a Slam Jam x New Balance 5030 collaboration in sample form, the early look gives fans a good idea of what to expect from the new shoe, which is reportedly set for a wider general release rollout this year.

Cushioned with visible Abzorb SBS pods in the heel and a foam midsole, the New Balance 5030 features a fully molded synthetic upper with wavy grooves throughout the design. The Slam Jam collaboration features a metallic silver colorway, which amplifies the model’s futuristic look. The Italian retailer’s logos appear on both the tongue and heel.
While the Slam Jam collaboration is getting the Paris Fashion Week spotlight, this actually isn’t the first time the 5030 model has surfaced. In July 2025, Mexico City-based store Pleser Lab shared a look at another sample style in white nylon, which could indicate that the molded shell construction is unique to Slam Jam’s special makeup.
In addition to the aforementioned models and the just-revealed 5030, more hints of the brand’s 2026 plans have been teased. Last summer, another version of the New Balance 1890 surfaced with a moccasin-inspired construction and snakeskin details. A new twist on the popular 1906 model, dubbed the 1906F, will also be released.
The Slam Jam x New Balance 5030 is expected to be released soon in limited-edition quantities, with more 5030 colorways coming in the near future. Retail pricing, tech specs and availability for the new model have not yet been confirmed.
