Dua Lipa showed off her French-inspired street style during the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday in Cannes, France. The singer brought out a deep purple Ferragamo ensemble from the fall 2026 collection with a pair of the brand’s bright red mule pumps.
The pop star flattered her feet in the Ferragamo S-shaped heel mule in red. The Ferragamo’s Itaca mules are defined by their sculptural and curved three-inch heels that resemble the letter “S.” The brand describes them as a “horn-like heel.” Their heels are crafted from glossy patent leather in a vibrant Flame red shade and are designed with sharp, elongated pointed toes that wrap the foot.

The V-neck shaped vamp gives the shoes a more modern and edgier appeal, which exposes the top of the foot more. The V-cut vamps have been a bubbling trend in pumps, slingbacks and flats, and Ferragamo added them to a mule, which is also a major trend in the footwear space, from sneakers to luxury shoe designs.
The shoes are available in a shorter heel height, as well as different colors like lime green and beige, and the brand currently offers the S-shaped heel mule for $1,590 in a snake print in a terracotta color. The shoes are a fit for the current trend that has been spotted on the runways of bold heels designs with unique details and distinctive features, like the horn-like heel, which makes the styles stand out.
Dua was outfitted in Ferragamo from head to toe for the outing in Cannes. She paired the shoes with an off-the-shoulder, long-sleeve blouse in a sheer, soft material that featured a lace-up detail down the side. A matching knee-length skirt with the same lace-up detail completed the ensemble. She accessorized the look with a red bag to match the shoes, a Bvlgari Serpenti Viper Two-Coil ring and a matching bracelet, with her custom Tiffany & Co. engagement ring in gold.
