As London Fashion Week gets under way all eyes may be on the spring 2016 runways, but in two areas of the city — the streets around two of its design schools, Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion — students who hope to be taking a bow on those catwalks a few short years from now were headed back to class.
WWD had its camera lens focused on both campuses recently as the fall semester kicked off and students made their sartorial choices during those first few days. From classic to quirky, they layered up for the brisk London weather in denim, leather and trenchcoats along with cropped trousers, skirts — long and short — and a wide range of statement bags. Who wore it best? Check out what they wore and decide for yourself.
