On has released its latest project with Loewe.
The duo’s newest collaboration introduces the LightSpray Cloudmonster, showcasing On’s LightSpray upper technology, a precision-engineered manufacturing process that sprays a seamless filament upper in a single step, crafted in approximately three minutes.
This limited-release shoe, a new silhouette in the collaboration, combines its laceless, single-piece upper with On’s Cloudmonster Hyper midsole with Helion HF for cushioning and energy return. Presented in an all-white colorway with silver Loewe and On branding, each shoe includes three LightSpray socks in Fluo Yellow, Fluo Green and Teal. On noted that the socks function as an integral component of the design rather than an accessory.

Alongside the LightSpray Cloudmonster, the new collection includes updated versions and new colorways of the Cloudsolo and Cloudtilt Hi sneakers. The Cloudsolo, the first shoe co-designed by both brands, returns with new bicolor pairings, alongside exclusive colorways such as Teal, Sand and Burgundy. The Cloudtilt Hi arrives as a new addition, featuring a hi-top silhouette available in tricolor combinations, including Teal and Taupe.

All three models are featured in a new campaign directed by visual artist duo Blackwall which contrasts the LightSpray production process with Loewe’s approach to materiality and design, set against a backdrop of bold color and saturated hues.
The release comes just days after Casper Coppetti, the On’s co-founder, co-chief executive officer and executive co-chairman, touted the success of LightSpray on the company’s first company earnings call.
The executive noted that the big shoe news in the quarter was the company’s launch of its top-of-the-line LightSpray Cloudmonster Hyper at its Busan factory in South Korea. The brand increased its production capacity “thirty-fold” in February, Coppetti said. “The quarter also saw LightSpray closer to a much larger community of runners. From Los Angeles to Boston to London, thousands of fans saw the robot in action.”
“The LightSpray Cloudmonster Hyper sold out quickly across many of our channels with particular strong demand in Asia and the U.S.,” Coppetti added on the call. “In the opening week of our new Boston store, LightSpray represented close to 20 percent of footwear net sales.”
The Loewe × On collection is now available with the LightSpray Cloudmonster available exclusively at On and Loewe stores. The Cloudsolo and Cloudtilt Hi will be available at On and Loewe stores, select retail partners worldwide, and online at On.com and Loewe.com.
