Thanks to its personalized design and a bevy of well-executed colorways, Ja Morant’s Nike line is widely considered one of the best signature sneaker franchises of the moment. With his newest model, the Ja 4, already receiving official previews from Morant himself, there’s still some notable releases to come from his current shoe including this colorful Kool-Aid collaboration.
The Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 3 leans into a “Pink Lemonade” flavor with mismatched pink and yellow-based looks on the left and right shoe, respectively. More specifically, the pair blends a mix of Lemon Venom/Light Photo Blue/Deep Royal Blue/Light Green Spark/Pink Beam/Hyper Pink for a sugary asymmetrical colorway.

Bold color choices aside, the Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 3 is packed with references — both subtle and overt — to the flavored drink. The Kool-Aid Man mascot is depicted on the tongue on the left shoe, while each tongue features a printed condensation texture to resemble a cool drink. On the insole, the Kool-Aid allusions get even more dialed up with the Kool-Aid Man’s signature “oh yeah!” phrase printed across each insole.
The first link-up between Kool-Aid, Nike and Morant occurred on the Nike Ja 2. Morant’s second signature sneaker was released in “Mixed Berry” and “Tropical Punch” styles in 2025.
After the Ja 3 cycle winds down, Morant’s Nike Ja 4 will debut at retail this fall. The model was revealed by Morant in several colorways in April and is expected to be the precursor to yet another Ja 4 variation in a high-top form. The high-top Nike Ja 4 is set to be released this holiday season.
The Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 3 will be released in adult (style code IW1159-700), grade school (style code IW2296-700) and preschool (style code IW2297-700) sizes on May 20 from nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers. Retail pricing for adult sizes is set at $135.
