After an early leak in March, Ja Morant’s newest Nike signature sneaker was revealed by the NBA star himself.
Morant took to Instagram Friday afternoon to share the first official look at the upcoming Nike Ja 4. The low-top variation shared by Morant is expected to be one of two Ja 4 models, with the other being a laceless high-top version.

Although Morant’s post doesn’t include any tech specifications or details, some elements of the Ja 4 can be deduced from the images alone. Like its predecessor, the Ja 4 will feature a J-shaped Swoosh alongside a triangular stability wing to spell out his first name. Early information also indicates the shoe will feature Cushlon 3.0 foam combined with a ZoomX drop-in insole.
Five different styles were included in Morant’s post and while the specific storylines behind the upcoming colorways remain shrouded, the looks offer a glimpse into the next chapter of his signature line. Pairs in the teaser include a black-and-chrome makeup reminiscent of Morant’s previous Swarovski collaborations, a metallic gold-accented pink style, a style with a blue-to-teal gradient fade accented with metallic red, a black-to-green gradient and a grayscale makeup.
Collaborations are once again expected to be a highlight of Morant’s signature line with “Jaws” and Slam Magazine colorways already on the schedule. Holidays themes will also make another appearance with Halloween and Christmas-colored styles confirmed to be in the works.
In addition to the first in-hand look at his new sneaker, Morant took to his Instagram story to seemingly respond to critics who have questioned his star status. “Can’t be what they say if da Swoosh still here,” Morant wrote.
The Nike Ja 4 will debut in the low-top form pictured here this fall, followed by the expected debut of the high-top iteration during the holiday season. Retail prices for the low-top Ja 4 range from $130 to $140. While we await further details, readers can find more looks at the sneaker below.
