Neiman Marcus began the holiday season with an intimate celebration at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to unveil its 2025 Fantasy Gifts and debut “The Perfect Gift” campaign, continuing its six-decade-long tradition of selecting extraordinary holiday gifts.
“What makes a gift really perfect is when someone takes the time to get something that you want,” said Sarah Michelle Gellar, wearing a white Hervé Léger dress with a fitted knit bodice, satin skirt and asymmetric hem. “Not something that they want to give you, but something that makes you happy.”

“Well, I would like more time,” she said. “And I think that is an absolute fantasy because I don’t think anyone can give me more time.”
For Eva Longoria, the best gifts are about creating memories.
“I like experiences, trips,” said Longoria. She had her family in mind. “For my sisters, I always give trips — a trip to Spain, a trip to Paris.”
She opted for an all-black ensemble, a Saint Laurent blouse and Phoebe Philo tux trousers.
“They have this zipper,” she said of the pants, tracing the sleek satin panel running from hip to hem and finished with ankle zips.
“And look at my shoes,” she continued, exposing black platforms. “I’m, like, 10 feet tall tonight.”
She wasn’t hard to miss, joining the crowd of clients and friends of the retailer — including Leslie Bibb, Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, Malin Akerman, Max Greenfield, Kathy Hilton, Samuel Arnold and Katherine LaNasa.
The room was filled with flashes of satin, sequins and signature Neiman Marcus red, bringing to life the Fantasy Gifts through themed activations and experiences: a western-style bar inspired by Christian Louboutin’s custom $47,000 saddle, a martini stand nodding to the Annie Leibovitz Phaidon collaboration — with the photographer offering a $500,000 four-hour portrait shoot at her New York studio.
“The holiday season is full of wonder, and Neiman Marcus has an incredible history of transforming that spirit into something truly extraordinary to complement our customers’ discerning shopping preferences,” said Emily Essner, president and chief commercial officer of Saks Global, in a statement.
It’s Neiman Marcus’ first major holiday rollout under Saks Global, which also owns Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
“With a curated selection of magical gifts, exceptional holiday dressing assortment and immersive experiences in partnership with notable brands, we aim to inspire our customers and embrace the joy of discovery,” Essner went on. “Every element of this year’s holiday strategy has been thoughtfully designed not only to surprise and delight, but also to drive meaningful growth for our luxury business in a distinctively Neiman Marcus way.”
This year’s holiday campaign, shot in Paris with models Rosalieke Fuchs and James Turlington, celebrates luxury gifting and style through cinematic storytelling. The retailer will also unveil Parisian-inspired holiday windows on Nov. 25 across its stores.
“The Perfect Gift campaign captures the spirit of the season through the lens of fantasy and delight,” said Kristin Maa, chief marketing officer of Saks Global, in a statement. “From remarkable gifts to curated explorations of holiday style, our campaign invites customers into an experience that both inspires and reflects their refined and luxury lifestyles. ”
Continuing its philanthropic tradition, a portion of each Fantasy Gift sale — available now — will benefit The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation, and the company will support Boys & Girls Clubs of America through a point-of-sale fundraising campaign.
