Elevated winter basics top The Lyst Index’s Q4 2025 Hottest Products list.
The Polo Ralph Lauren cable-knit quarter-zip was the quarter’s hottest product, with a 75 percent increase in demand, according to the fashion shopping platform.
Lyst said the “the quarter-zip movement highlights an aesthetic shift” as Gen Z consumer begin to lean toward classic and traditional styles as they mature. “The quarter-zip moment was further amplified by creative director debuts at Dior and Chanel, pushing Ralph Lauren’s iconic version back into the spotlight,” Lyst stated.
Ralph Lauren, in general, is piping hot. Ranked the No. 4 hottest brand of Q4, the American stalwart climbed five positions, with a 24 percent spike in demand. Lyst credits “clear product franchises, emotional familiarity” and social buzz surrounding the viral Ralph Lauren Christmas aesthetic trend as reasons for its strong quarter.
The No. 2 hottest product, Massimo Dutti’s puffer jacket, symbolizes the rise of accessible contemporary brands such as the Inditex brand and Cos, which retained its third place on the Hottest Brand list, with demand up 60 percent.
Arc’Teryx’s $60 bird toque—worn by Frank Ocean and Timothée Chalamet—ranked No. 3, followed by Burberry’s cashmere scarf at No. 4, and Chloé’s archival Paddington leather bag with an oversized padlock at No. 5. Lyst said the designer bag achieved its top traffic driving month in November spiking 291 percent in demand quarter-over-quarter.
Ugg continued to flex its strength with the No. 6 hottest product, the Zora Ballet Flats.
The No. 7 hottest product, Parke’s Varsity Mockneck Sweatshirt, signals the power of TikTok when it went viral with Gen Z and Gen Alpha consumers over the holidays. Lyst said demand for the $130 sweater increased 1,847 percent in November.
The No. 8 hottest product, Saint Laurent’s Vendôme Slingback Pumps, is somewhat of an outlier in the casual group. However, the French label remains the No. 1 hottest brand in the world.
Designer denim made its way onto the Hottest Products list. At No. 9, is Victoria Beckham’s high-rise wide-leg Alina Jeans. Lemaire’s Wrap Coat ranked No. 10.
The general absence of luxury products on the index may be the result of the creative changes labels like Gucci, Chanel, Dior and Balenciaga made last year. “Luxury’s great creative director reshuffle hasn’t yet translated into meaningful customer demand—pragmatic shoppers will wait for the brands to recalibrate before committing to new directions,” Lyst stated.
However, luxury brands continued to dominate the Hottest Brands list. Miu Miu (No. 4), Prada (No. 5), Coach (No. 6), The Row (No. 7), Burberry (No. 8), Gucci (No. 9) and Moncler (No. 10) landed in the top 10.
