Fabletics is dialing in on the whereabouts of its inventory.
Last week, the activewear brand announced it deployed GreyOrange’s gStore retail software as a solution (SaaS) application at more than 100 stores across North America.
With the tool—which leverages AI-driven analytics, radio-frequency identification (RFID) and real-time updates for item-level accuracy—Fabletics is able to gain pinpoint-accurate intelligence about the location and status of every unit of inventory in its retail locations, including its flagship stores in New York and Los Angeles.
In stores already using the system, Fabletics has reported results including 95 to 97 percent fill rates achieved through precise location tracking, the elimination of manual cycle counts through real-time inventory updates and sales increases of up to 20 percent per location.
“The gStore app gives us precise visibility into the location of every item in the store,” said Ron Harries, senior vice president, head of retail at Fabletics. “With our previous solution, we could only see what had been sold. Now we can track where items are located in real time and act on that information. Our teams instantly know what inventory is missing and where, so we always have the appropriate stock in the right place to generate the most sales.”
Next, store-inventory software developer GreyOrange will work with Fabletics to enable efficient store-to-store merchandise transfers through gStore, ensuring each item is positioned where it’s most likely to sell.
“Retailers waste so much time and money just trying to figure out where their inventory is. But once they have that real-time visibility, the game changes,” said Troy Siwek, general manager of gStore by GreyOrange. “It’s not just about cost savings—it’s about unlocking more sales, running a sharper operation and delivering a better experience for every customer. That kind of intelligence is exactly what gStore was built for.”
