Maximalism was on full display at Libertine as Johnson Hartig sent out a vibrant and tactile fall collection filled with great outerwear. He used embroidery and crystal embellishments aplenty — from kitschy cigarette butts to surrealist patterns — on everything from women’s coats and dresses to men’s sweatshirts. Key women’s looks also included embroidered, fur-trimmed coats, crochet-knit capes and sequin dresses. For men, Hartig offered pieces as varied as patched khaki pants and an all-over sequin track suit.
