Lily Aldridge wore a deep red gown at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party on Thursday at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City. The dress featured a one-shoulder neckline and an asymmetrical bodice with a silk skirt.
Aldridge paired the gown with metallic strappy sandals and dangling gold earrings. The model kept her makeup simple with nude lips and a smokey eye with subtle brick-red hues to match her dress.
Aldridge is featured in Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue this year. The model earned her first spot in the magazine in 2014, appearing on the cover alongside Chrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal. Since then, she has appeared in the magazine multiple times.

This year, for the 60th anniversary issue, she appears on the cover alongside a cast of seasoned Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue models, including Tyra Banks and Halima Aden. In an Instagram post celebrating the special anniversary issue, Aldridge called it “a dream to be included with all these Iconic Legends.”
At the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party, she posed on the red carpet with her Sports Illustrated peers Kate Upton and Martha Stewart.
The 60th anniversary issue will be available on Friday.
