Jennifer Lawrence Embraces Minimalism in Khaite for ‘Die My Love’ Event

Jennifer Lawrence favored a subdued take on quiet luxury for her 92NY conversation with Josh Horowitz on Wednesday night in New York City to discuss her film “Die My Love” ahead of Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards.

The Oscar-winning “Silver Linings Playbook” star wore a coordinated monochrome ensemble in black. Lawrence wore tapered black trousers by Khaite, crafted in a crepe fabric. The pants were coordinated with a sleeveless top, featuring a high turtleneck.

Lawrence continued the monochrome approach to her look, adding a pair of Khaite Jett d’orsay pumps to her attire. As for jewelry pieces, the actress continued her simple approach, wearing a pair of pearl drop earrings with a gold hoop. Lawrence has been working closely with stylist Ryan Hastings during the recent leg of her “Die My Love” promotional and awards season tour.

Over the course of the last several months, Lawrence’s penchant for simple luxury style has been a trending element of her wardrobe. The 2026 Golden Globe Award nominee, a Dior ambassador, has worn several styles courtesy of the French luxury fashion house’s new creative director Jonathan Anderson.

For the Rome Film Festival screening of the Lynne Ramsay-directed picture in October, Lawrence wore a look from Dior’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. One month later at the New York City premiere of “Die My Love,” Lawrence wore a custom design by Anderson, featuring sinuous lines and structured gathered fabric.

Lawrence’s style evolution can be charted back to her rise in the early 2010s, during her awards season run for the 2010 film “Winter’s Bone.” The actress earned her first Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the film, wearing a Louis Vuitton dress to the awards ceremony in Beverly Hills.

More than a decade later, Lawrence is nominated for a Golden Globe award again for her leading performance in “Die My Love,” which follows the psychological unraveling of a woman who’s marriage begins to crumble as she navigates new town, her purpose and motherhood.
