Nike’s futuristic Air Foamposite Pro sneaker will reportedly receive a fitting glow-in-the-dark makeover in the new year.
According to early information compiled by @zsneakerheadz, Sneaker Files and Sneaker Market Romania, an upcoming Air Foamposite Pro Premium release donning a Summit White/Black color combination will feature an eye-catching glow-in-the-dark treatment across its molded polyurethane upper. With an ever so slightly off-white appearance in normal lighting, the new style lights up with a luminescent glow in darker conditions.
While the full glow-in-the-dark finish is a first for the Foamposite series, it’s not the first time the effect has been used on Foamposites. The most memorable iteration to use glow-in-the-dark details is the Air Foamposite One’s “Galaxy” rendition, which debuted in 2012 and received its first reissue in February. However, the Galaxy style used the glowing look only on its outsole, which has been the case for many other glow-in-the-dark Foamposites.

In March, a previously unseen Air Foamposite Pro with a glow-in-the-dark elephant print pattern surfaced at Portland consignment store Index. The rare sample sold for $2,500, but fans won’t need to shell out that much for a chance at the upcoming release.
In related news, the Air Foamposite Pro returns Thursday in its original Pearl colorway, which was famously worn by Ray Allen in Spike Lee’s 1998 film “He Got Game.” And in December, the model’s fan-favorite Pine Green colorway will receive its first-ever reissue.
Given its premium designation, it’s likely that the upcoming glow-in-the-dark Air Foamposite Pro will come at a higher retail price than the typical $240. The new pair is expected to arrive during the fall 2026 season under the style code IV6246-100.
