Following an imminent release in black patent leather, LeBron James’ crown-adorned Nike Air Force 1s are set to appear again, this time in an eye-catching lenticular colorway.

The LeBron James x Nike Air Force 1 Low will soon arrive in a Voltage Green/Black/Chlorophyll/Multi-color look. The new style retains many of the custom features seen on the aforementioned “New York City” patent leather pair including a crown shape on the rubber midsole, quilted liner, “Air Chosen 1” text in place of the traditional Air Force 1 tongue branding, “LJ-23” dubraes and “LBJ” heel branding.

Despite all of these commonalities, the two colorways couldn’t be more different when placed side by side. The new Voltage Green pair flips the patent leather seen on James’ previous colorway for a full plastic lenticular upper. The material, which has been used sporadically by Nike over the years, allows the design’s colors and graphics to shift as the shoe is viewed from different angles. Product images reveal that the tongue logo will shift from “Nike LBJ” branding to James’ crown logo, but further details have not been confirmed.

Along with James’ personalized Air Force 1s, Nike has been issuing special-edition versions of the classic sneaker to other NBA stars including Ja Morant and the late Kobe Bryant. The latter employ Bryant’s performance retro Protro concept and see the addition of ReactX cushioning among other upgrades. A similar-looking insole is featured on James’ version, although Nike has yet to confirm the specifics.

Beyond his Air Force 1s, James will receive a new “Warning Label” version of his latest Nike LeBron 23 model in time for NBA All-Star Weekend. Images of the sneaker have yet to surface, but it’s expected to feature a Metallic Gold/Black/Metallic Gold colorway.

The LeBron James x Nike Air Force 1 Low Voltage Green is expected to be released during spring ’26 for a retail price of $200 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The style code for the upcoming pair is IQ5368-300.
