The collaboration between the two brands launches Friday.

Teyana Taylor has been booked lately promoting the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie “One Battle After Another,” but she had time to attend the NikeSkims launch event at Nike House of Innovation in New York City on Wednesday, making a bold style statement in Marc Jacobs Kiki boots.

The Kiki boot was first presented on the fall 2016 runway for Marc Jacobs. Worn by many celebrities over the years, the edgy footwear style features a chunky towering block heel and a rounded toe set atop a hefty platform. The edge doesn’t stop there, as another signature feature of the shoes is a column of slender buckled straps down the upper. Taylor paired the daring shoes with an all-black ensemble including loose pants, a mock-neck top with cut-outs and a jacket with exaggerated pointed shoulders.
