Queen Letizia of Spain showcased a spin on a classic footwear choice with a heeled black loafer on Tuesday in Madrid, where she attended the Global Caregivers Forum organized by UNICEF and WHO.
The Spanish royal family member wore one of her go-to footwear choices, Massimo Dutti loafers. The design features an almond toe and thick block heel in addition to a classic penny loafer upper. The sleek black heeled leather loafers have accompanied Queen Letizia’s outfits on a number of occasions. For example, for an event back in November, she paired the shoes with a gray suit from Massimo Dutti.
On Thursday, the loafers grounded a more casual ensemble consisting of houndstooth patterned pants with a tucked-in white top and red leather collared jacket.

Queen Letizia’s footwear style often leans classic and understated. She recently wore pointed-toe black kitten heels, seemingly her Clara pair from Magrit, with a white pleated blouse and long black skirt for the Pascua Militar ceremony earlier this month. She often reps the Spanish brand, whether it’s kitten heels in different colors or suede boots. When it comes to more warm weather-ready styles, you might find her wearing strappy toe-ring sandals (she and her daughters wore the same style over the summer) or espadrille wedges.
