Latto showcased two contrasting looks at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, which took place at the UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y. The rapper arrived on the red carpet with a glamorous look, which consisted of a metallic Versace dress and vintage Roberto Cavalli sandals. She swapped out of that look and hit the stage in a more provocative look to present an award alongside Ice Spice.
For her red carpet arrival, Latto paired a metallic gold Gianni Versace winter 1994 gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline with a diagonal strap across the chest. A fitted bodice that gives way for an A-line skirt with a shorter hem, which allowed her shoes to peek through.

For her red carpet shoes, the rapper opted for Roberto Cavalli‘s archival snake-embellished sandals in black. The popular shoes, which have previously been worn by stars like Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, feature a gold and black snake slithering up the front of the foot and a red jewel at the center.

There’s a strap across the foot and one mid-foot, with an elegant, slim strap around the ankle that the snake is fastened to. The satin sandals feature an almond toe design with a stiletto heel that measures approximately five inches. An updated version of the heels retails for $1,600. She kept the rest of her look understated, wearing her honey blond hair out in beach waves, and her makeup was glowy and bronze with hints of soft pink.
She turned up the heat to hit the stage to present the award, opting for a more understated yet edgier look. She wore Dsquared2 from head to toe, opting for a black Dsquared2 spring 2006 runway maxi dress, with a plunging neckline, a rodeo western cowboy buckle and a high slit.
The high slit made her Riri Over-the-Knee Sandals the focal point of the ensemble. The super-strappy heels embrace the leg from the ankle to the middle of the thigh in thin wrap-around ties. The metal eyelet details add a grungy touch, while the front of the foot features a slight platform, and all of this balances atop a five-inch heel.
A shorter version of the style, which reaches right above the ankle, is available on the brand’s site for $1,045. The heels are inspired by Rihanna, a known fan of tall, strappy heels. The singer wore lace-up Dsquared2 heels in red to the 2017 Met Gala.
