Dakota Johnson Slips Into Soaring Saint Laurent Boots for 2025 Zurich Film Festival

The actress wore the brand's six-inch Nico boot.

Dakota Johnson is the latest celebrity to step out in towering platform boots, opting for a Saint Laurent style for an appearance at the 21st Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland on Friday.

The actress wore the brand’s knee-high “Nico” boots, which feature a soaring six-inch block high heel, an almond toe and a gold, logo-stamped buckle detail at the ankle. Retailing for $2,600, the bold style is also available in a red wine hue and features ankle-length versions. Zoe Saldana, a Saint Laurent celebrity ambassador, donned the same boots at the brand’s fashion show earlier this year.

Johnson isn’t typically pictured in thick-soled boots, as she generally wears more minimalist styles, so this look is a bit different for her. Johnson — who works with renowned stylist, Kate Young and is a Gucci ambassador — paired the boots with a charcoal gray and black Ferragamo top and black miniskirt for the event.
