Billie Eilish embraced a preppy Miu Miu look grounded by a pair of brogues to attend the 2025 Innovator Awards in New York City on Wednesday, where the singer-songwriter was honored with the Music Innovator Award.
Eilish’s footwear look stood out as a key part of her smart ensemble. She wore a pair of brown leather brogues layered with stone gray calf-length socks (recall Amanda Seyfried’s recent gray socks and Miu Miu loafers moment), which were held up by sock garters. In the brogue Eilish showcased, Miu Miu reimagined the classic men’s shoe, blending formality and laidback comfort by attaching a lightweight, sporty rubber sole to the leather upper.
The perforated brogue detailing gave the set extra flair, while not one, but two metal buckles embellished the set. Priced at $1,170 from the Prada subsidiary, the shoes also feature the Miu Miu logo embossed on the tongue and screen printed on the insole.

Eilish’s dressy footwear complemented a look from Miu Miu’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection, presented in Paris earlier this month and inspired by women’s work. The musician wore a matching navy jacket and knee-length skirt with sparse pleats; the unique layering of a colorful, patterned scarf, light blue collared shirt and gray V-neck sweater accented the navy set. Meanwhile, Eilish’s shoes were paired with a brown belt with utilitarian flair. On the runway, the look was completed by light brown sandals with thick crisscrossing straps.
Eilish is also a fan of sneakers, releasing collaborations with Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse — all belonging to Nike, Inc. — since 2021. While on tour in the U.K. over the summer, Eilish debuted a collaboration with Nike’s Air Jordan 4 sneaker in two colorways.
