Alicia Keys showed off her sneaker game as she headed to “Good Morning America” in New York City on Friday, stepping out in an all-black ensemble set off by a pair of Nike Air Max 1s.
The first style in the popular Air Max line, which showcases Nike’s visible Air cushioning technology, finds inspiration in French architecture. In addition to offering support with Max Air cushioning, the shoe features a wavy mudguard and a Waffle outsole featuring flex grooves, which offer traction that’s described by the brand as flexible and durable.
Keys specifically wore the Air Max 1 in a colorway called “Pure Platinum and University Red.” This colorway is bright white with a black mudguard and red accents, including the signature Swoosh symbol. This isn’t the first time Keys has stepped out in Nike sneakers — she donned a pair of gray and white Nike x Off-White sneakers for an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last year.
