NEW YORK — It wasn’t mellow, but yellow was the one bright spot amid the many neutrals and deeper hues shown at Première Vision. The bright shade made a vibrant addition to the color palette, shown on beautiful silk jacquards, graphic prints and a barely there guipure lace. The trick, said designers and exhibitors, was to use the color as an accent — preferably mixed with earth tones such as khaki, brown or bone.
