Netflix’s new mystery drama, “The Perfect Couple,” is based on Elin Hilderbrand’s 2018 novel of the same name. The New York Times bestselling author is known as “the queen of beach reads,” and “The Perfect Couple” is no exception: set in the wealthy coastal enclave of Nantucket, a murder occurs in the midst of a family wedding.
Starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and “The White Lotus” star Meghann Fahy, the series is helmed by Oscar-winning Susanne Bier director, best known for her work on “Bird Box” and “The Night Manager.”
Kidman and Schreiber play the parents of the groom (Billy Howle), who is set to wed his girlfriend, Amelia (Eve Hewson).
All six episodes of “The Perfect Couple” are available to stream on Thursday.
