LONDON – London College of Fashion (LCF) hosted its third post-graduate presentation during London Fashion Week, with MA Womenswear and Menswear students showcasing their final designs at the newly opened campus in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Nabil El-Nayal, MA Womenswear course leader, said the showcase was important because it allowed “emerging designers to connect with people in industry.”
There were static presentations, and every 30 minutes or so models would descend a spiral staircase wearing a look from each student. El-Nayal said the live moments were meant to bring out “the spirit of the garments.”
