New York & Co. promoted Sheamus Toal to chief financial officer, taking over from Ron Ristau, who is leaving the company.
Ristau was also president, but 591-door moderately priced specialty chain said it was not planning on filling the position. Toal had been chief accounting officer.
“We are pleased that the company has the senior management depth to promote such a strong financial executive from within,” Richard Crystal, chairman and chief executive officer, said. “Sheamus has demonstrated a strong understanding of the business as well as excellent leadership skills, and we expect a smooth transition as he enters into his new role.”
