LONDON — Judith Sprieser will step down from the board of Jimmy Choo plc with immediate effect, for personal reasons that are unrelated to the company, the brand said Thursday.
Board member Bob Singer will take up the positions of chairman of the audit committee and chairman of the conflicts committee.
The Jimmy Choo board has also begun a process to identify a new, independent non-executive director to replace Sprieser, who joined the board following the brand’s initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange in October.
“We are grateful to Judith for the input and support she has provided to the company since the IPO in October,” said Peter Harf, chairman of the board. “We are sad to see her leave, but understand her reasons for making this decision and we fully support her.”
Sprieser said she regrets having to step down. “I wish all in the business every success,” she said.
