At Kingpins New York, held Jan. 24-25 at Basketball City, leading denim mills showcased their fabric collection to designers and the industry, providing them with solutions to shrink their brand’s environmental impact while delivering on-trend products.
Here, executives from seven denim mills provide deeper insights into what they have planned for the season.
Artistic Garment Industries (AGI Denim)
Rebecca Larsen, senior business development manager at AGI Denim, walks us through the Pakistan-headquartered mill’s new collection, which she describes as an “ode to spring and summer” with its light and bright washes.
Artistic Milliners
From Evolution Black, a pre-reduced sulfur dye that uses 58 percent fewer natural resources, to Natures Coatings, a 100 percent bio-based replacement for petroleum-derived carbon black, collaborations and innovations are currently the main focus for Artistic Milliners, according to Katie Tague, vice president of marketing and sales at the Pakistan-headquartered denim producer.
Crescent Bahuman Ltd.
Crescent Bahuman Ltd. plays with shade ranges for its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Moeed Usman, senior manager of marketing and business development at the denim mill, said.
Nishat Mills
Nishat Mills, a vertically integrated manufacturer, retailer and exporter of textiles, is focusing on authenticity and linen-like textures for its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, executive director Umer Shah said.
Orta
Recycled fibers are key in Orta‘s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, according to Oktay Okuroglu, the Turkish denim mills’ sales, marketing and product development director.

Soorty
Soorty is putting an emphasis on authenticity for its latest collection called Old Friends, Asad Soorty, director of the vertically integrated denim manufacturer, said.
