Following successful collaborations with Wrangler, Staud is stepping into the denim space independently with its first Staud Jeans collection.
The Los Angeles-based women’s brand launched the collection last month, offering five wardrobe-building jean fits.
The collection includes the straight-leg Teddy in rigid and stretch fabrics; the ’90s inspired Gus with a relaxed and slouchy fit; the Jackson, a barrel-leg jean with a V-waist; the Kyle, a stretch flare; and the Leo, a straight-meets-barrel silhouette with a high rise.
Staud also offers the includes the Glen, a denim jacket with a cropped silhouette and drop sleeves.
Denim styles come in an array of classic indigo washes as well as autumnal colorways like earth brown and portobello khaki. The jeans are made with 10 oz. to 13 oz. fabrics, with some sourced from Italy. Branded antique finish hardware and Staud embroidery hidden in the fly are unique details.
The collection retails for $245-$345. The $1,294 Gus covered in silver studs is available for pre-order.
Staud’s collection with Wrangler was a strong introduction to the women’s denim space. From 2023 to 2024, Staud partnered with the Kontoor Brands-owned label on co-branded collections. The brands dropped several seasonal collections featuring popular items like the Biggest Jean Jacket and trendy vests and bra tops.
