Relaxed Fits Dominate Milan Street Style

Practicality took center stage in Milan, where fashion week attendees favored functional, everyday staples.

Compared to London Fashion Week, where washes were bold and individuality was on display, jean choices in Italy were relaxed and laidback. Fits had a natural ease, with wide-leg and relaxed silhouettes being the most common. Washes were clean yet well-worn. Aged fades emphasized the fabric’s softness and popular status in closets.

The denim was paired with everything from cropped leather jackets and puffers to long fur coats.

Jean jackets and denim button-down shirts completed the capsule-style wardrobe, layered with trench coats, blazers and white tees.

Outliers included black skinny jeans—worn low with leather boots and a jacket for a 2010s hipster vibe—and a washed tinted dress with a wide leather belt.
