This Denim Collection Supports Mental Health Services

Pacsun is using denim as a force of good.

The California lifestyle retailer announced the launch of its Rare DNM Edit collection created in partnership with the Rare Impact Fund.

The Rare Impact Fund was founded by singer, actress and beauty entrepreneur Selena Gomez in 2020 as part of her commitment to addressing mental health and self-acceptance. The Rare Impact Fund is raising $100 million to support direct service organizations focused on strengthening mental health services and education for young people across the globe.

Starting Nov. 1, the Rare DNM Edit will be available in select Pacsun stores and online, with 10 percent of sales directly supporting the Rare Impact Fund’s mission to expand access to mental health resources for youth.

Spanning light and dark washes, the collection features men’s and women’s denim styles representative of Pacsun’s distinct Gen Z style.

For men, the line offers brown, black, blue and gray jeans in classic fits and styles with carpenter-inspired accents and studding. Matching men’s denim gas jackets are also available. Low-rise and high-rise baggy jeans are part of the women’s assortment. Jean styles span “no-rip classics” to patchwork and bow embellishments. It also includes a denim skirt and jacket set.

Each garment has a pocket flasher that details Pacsun’s partnership with the Rare Impact Fund.
