Business Class: Denim Suits Trend on the Runway

It’s usually bad news for jeans when suits increase in popularity, but that may not be the case this fall. Designers have found a perfect balance by filling their Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collections with denim suiting for men and women.

The trend blurs the line between dress and casual categories as many designers styled denim blazers and jeans in matching washes with button-down shirts and neckties.

In his final collection for Valentino, Pierpaolo Piccioli  paired a denim zip-up hoodie and loose-fitting jeans with a white button-down and black tie. A black tie refined Marine Serre’s logo-printed denim coordinates as well.
