You Can Own Bob Dylan’s Levi’s Jacket

A Levi’s Trucker jacket worn by Bob Dylan is on the auction block estimated to rake in $20,000-$30,000.

Julien’s Auction is auctioning off the size XL embellished denim jacket Dylan wore in the 1987 film “Hearts of Fire.” The custom jacket has distinctive velvet and lace patchwork, hand embroidery and fringe. The jacket can be seen in pivotal scene where Dylan’s character Billy Parker punches Rupert Everett’s character James Holt.

The Levi’s jacket is part of “Celebrating Bob Dylan: The Aronowitz Archive, T Bone Burnett, & More,” an auction taking place on Jan. 18, 2025 at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.  The event features 60 items, including 50 from the collection of journalist Al Aronowitz.
