Ever the proponent of donning classic fashion styles over trend-driven pieces, Taylor Swift once again made the case for stocking up on perfect wardrobe staples on a recent date night with Travis Kelce.
The “Bejeweled” singer was spotted on Dec. 28 in New York City en route to members-only club Chez Margaux, hand-in-hand with Kelce in an appropriately sparkling ensemble. The night’s real MVP wasn’t her football player beau, but rather, her cocktail dress, the Fleur du Mal Long Sleeve Flared Corset Dress that’s back in stock after selling out quickly this winter.
Swift’s night-out style proved just why a little black dress remains such a versatile closet essential. It provided a blank canvas for an otherwise blinged-out outfit comprised of a Simkhai rhinestone-adorned black “Gianni” trench coat and a Stella McCartney crystal fringe “Falabella” silver handbag. Swift’s jewelry styling included a mix of fine and fashion: She wore the De Beers “Arpeggia” diamond line earrings, and a Bonbonwhims costume jewelry “Heart Gumdrop” tennis necklace. Minimal Christian Louboutin Movida sandals rounded out the look.

The Fleur du Mal Long Sleeve Flared Corset Dress epitomizes day-to-night dressing. It just as effortlessly supplies the foundation for Swift’s evening ensemble as it would for a daytime winter look with a warm coat, tights, and combat boots. The dress’s mock neck and long sleeves make it winter-appropriate when paired with the appropriate hosiery, and ideal for transitional dressing between seasons. Think: a bomber jacket, socks, and loafers come springtime.
The Fleur du Mal style’s fit-and-flare silhouette is a flattering choice as it highlights the waist and accentuates curves. Crafted in a stretch jacquard, the dress features structured corset seaming that is in line with Swift’s predilection for those boning details in her “The Tortured Poets Department” album era.
It’s not Swift’s first time in Fleur du Mal, which is best known for its lingerie. She’s worn some of the brand’s more colorful items in two of her music videos, “Lover” and “You Need to Calm Down.”
Swift’s Fleur du Mal LBD is a stalwart staple to stock up on while it’s available. After selling out, it was recently restocked in black. Pick up the romantic gift for her before it flies off the shelves again.
