Erin Fetherston captured a free-spirited, wistful mood for her spring Erin collection. Inspired by bucolic images from David Hamilton and Deborah Turbeville, she brought their photos to life with a lineup that was equal parts bohemian and romantic. Rich floral embroideries decorated a cape and skirt combo — her version of a suit. Other key looks included a delicate diamond-lace maxidress, a needlepoint-embroidered print trapeze frock, a dot chiffon blouse and plenty of culottes. A few ethereal white gowns, perfect for a garden or beach wedding. Fetherston also introduced a kitschy capsule collection of minaudières, each stitched with monograms and “bon mots” expressing the spirit of the season.
