This outerwear collection nodded to the Indian heritage of its designer twin sisters, Mandeep and Hardeep Chohan. “Our idea is that outerwear is like jeweled armor, as it’s the last thing you put on,” said Mandeep Chohan.
Bespoke prints by the illustrator Joseph Larkowsky took inspiration from the rubies, sapphires and emeralds of fabled maharanis, but there was also a piece that featured actual crystals sprinkled on a tulle overlay. Subtle detailing came in the form of tweed and silk scalloped panels.
