For his Tokyo Fashion Week runway debut, Syota Masuda offered up a collection for both genders that was high on shimmer and sporty edge.
Citing a “minimal neo-futuristic” theme, Masuda turned out some cool women’s wear, including minidresses crafted from gold and silver lamé, an iridescent trenchcoat and a sheer mesh dress with straps adorning the bust.
The flashy men’s wear — heavy on metallic sleeveless shirts and skintight pants — didn’t translate as well.
