Designers Koichi Chida and Aya Furuhashi worked with artist Shiho Ueda to to create a line of delicate pieces adorned with pastel watercolor prints. Models carried watercolor artworks and walked in traditional Japanese geta sandals onto a plywood stage. There, each one spoke into a microphone about the color of the painting she was holding. The silhouettes were loose, with asymmetric layered skirts and billowing sleeves crafted in lightweight jersey, chiffon and satin. Slightly more structured pieces such as pleated shorts, a long vest and overalls in khaki or gray rounded out the offering.
