Inspired by the photo painting of Gerhard Richter, Gabriele Colangelo played with surface effects, including an intriguing cotton jacquard that resembled cracked paint, but with its myriad synthetic textures and garish shades, most of this collection felt too conceptual to take for a real-life spin.
