For resort, Ji Oh stayed true to her laid-back urban sophisticated vibe, while infusing some novelty into the pieces — starting with her white shirt staples, updated this season with bell sleeves, sculpted collars and hardware details. Utilitarian elements were a constant, too, being seen on a long, creme-colored skirt with attached wraparound belts (as cool as it was practical).
She also worked with pleated textures in lightweight trenches and slit wide-leg pants, leather boxy jumpsuits and drapey crêpe separates, including a skirt with alternating opaque and sheer panels. Basics, but with a summery appeal. “When you go away during this time of year, you want breezy pieces that resemble what you wear in the city,” Oh explained. “That same style, only easier.”
