Lucio Vanotti demonstrated that simplicity can be utterly sophisticated.
For his debut at Pitti Uomo, Vanotti showcased a chic collection focused on clean silhouettes that were infused with a sense of relaxed ease. Collarless blazers were cut in generous shapes and paired with comfortable pants. Slimmer trousers were matched with shirts, longer in the back, while knitted sweaters came in intriguing deconstructed designs.
Inspired by the tones used by Renaissance painter Masaccio, Vanotti combined neutrals with rich tones of light blue and terra-cotta, which worked best in a fluid striped suit worn under a beige coat.
