Luisa Beccaria’s fall collection was stocked with her familiar ultrafeminine fare with quilted velvet, rich lace and broderie anglais done in ivory and shades of light green — the key ingredients this season. A common silhouette was the long-sleeved dress with a simple, straight cut, whether long or short — pretty and discreet with a vaguely peasantlike quality that brought the recent Valentino collections to mind. Still, this was Beccaria in her own right, reliably elegant and unapologetically romantic.
