Kith and BMW are back together for the third time, presenting a unique collection with redesigned BMW models and a curated apparel line.
For this new phase of their ongoing collaboration, Kith redesigned two BMW M models – the BMW M1 and BMW XM. The M1, a historic model from 1978, and the XM, a modern-day counterpart, are both uniquely painted in Techno Violet, a rare and admired BMW color. The M1 is meticulously restored with original parts, complemented by custom details like Kith BMW M badges and interiors in Black Merino Leather bearing Kith monograms. Both cars will be part of an exhibition at Art Basel Miami in 2024, starting this Friday.
A production version of the BMW XM, inspired by the concept car, will be available for pre-orders—the 2025 BMW XM by Kith. This limited release of only 47 units will feature exclusive colors, including Frozen Techno Violet, and is priced at $199,000.
Apart from the cars, Kith will also launch an apparel and accessories collection featuring colors from their previous BMW collaborations: Cinnabar Red, Vitality Green and Techno Violet, along with new designs that reflect the aesthetics of both brands. This includes luxury jackets, sportswear and various BMW-inspired accessories available for purchase starting Friday at Kith stores and online.
